What to bring with you

The apartment is fully equipped for your stay. All bedding and towels are provided, this includes a set of beach towels for your use. There is also a hair dryer for your use.

You will need to bring clothes and toiletries and personal items for your use. If you are bringing electrical equipment you will need to bring an adaptor. The voltage here is 110 and we use a flat pin American style plug.

The currency in Barbados is the Barbados Dollar which is worth $0.50 USD. It is sensible to bring some local currency but most places accept US dollars and Visa and MasterCard credit cards. Prices are sometimes quoted in US dollars so be sure to check when making transactions.

The official language in Barbados is English and although the local Bajan dialect may be difficult to understand you should have no problem communicating.

Cars drive on the left hand side of the road and if you intend to hire a car you will need to bring your driving licence with you in order to get a permit.

The apartment is self catering so food is not provided. We will leave a welcome pack with some basics to tide you over till you can get to the Supermarket. There is also a Chinese Restaurant/ Take Away on site should you need a quick meal. There are also a range of restaurants within easy walking distance.
